Continuing Education: Each Participant will receive a certificate of attendance stating your name, program title, instructor, date, location, contact hours, and sponsor. CE is a nationally recognized measure of educational accomplishments and is available from the following professional associations:
Family Psychological Services, P.C. is approved by the Association for Play Therapy to offer CE specific to play therapy. Our provider number is 99-075. Family Psychological Services, P.C., maintains responsibility for the program.
Satisfactory Completion: Participants must have paid tuition fee, signed in each day, attended the entire two day seminar, completed an evaluation, and signed out each day, in order to receive a certificate of completion/attendance. Participants not fulfilling these requirements will not receive a certificate. Failure to sign in or out will result in forfeiture of credit for the entire course. No exceptions will be made. Partial credit is not available.
The Reaching Children Through Play Therapy
workshop offers 14 contact hours.
The Intensive Training in Play Therapy workshop offers continuing education hours as follows:
45 Total Contact Hours, of which:
10 Hours are Individual Supervision
14 Hours are Group Supervision
10 Hours are Play Therapy Sessions
11 Hours are Academic Play Therapy, of which |

• 3 Hours Theories, and
• 4 Hours are Application

There also is a possibility of 4 hours of History and Development of Play Therapy if the group elects to do so. This would involve extra time and and additional fee of $70.
The Case Consultation meeting offer continuing education hours as follows:
40 Total Contact Hours, of which:
10 Hours are Individual Supervision
18 Hours are Group Supervision

Individuals seeking professional continuing education other than play therapy are responsible for forms from their respective disciplines. The instructor will assist in completion of any necessary forms.

For purposes of application toward Registered Play Therapist or Registered Play Therapist/Supervisor, participants in the Case Consultation groups will receive ten hours of individual consultation, 12 hours of academic instruction, 18 hours of group consultation, and credit for up to 100 play therapy sessions at your site of employment. Individuals seeking professional continuing education other than play therapy are responsible for forms from their respective disciplines. The instructor will assist in completion of any necessary forms.
